The previous owner of this Corvette was an American gentleman who moved from Manhattan to Venice and then to Budapest. His profession is interior designing and renovation of castles, cottages. Anthony has already left Hungary, and his aristocratic sports coupe remained in our workshop.
The car drove many years along the Budapest streets. Many people intended to buy this beautiful classic, but his owner did not even think of selling it because he had had it for many decades in the world and it already became part of his personality. The car has an impressive documented history: since its manufacturing of 1971 it had three owners and all the documents still exist from the original invoice through the annual registration receipts to the sales-contracts and the servicing papers. The first owner was from Long Island, in 1971, then the car got to New York and a few years later it was purchased by Anthony in Manhattan.
Our team’s relationship with the car started with a bad accident. After the accident Anthony immediately brought the car to the workshop. After assessing the damages it was clear that no structure element was damaged, only the external plastic clip but Anthony thought it was the time for the complete restoration. His job took him to Brazil therefore leaved the car to our workshop. The Corvette found its new owner until the restoration process.
