1957 BMW 507 Series 1 #41
Reconstruction
This particular 507 is truly exceptional, having been well-maintained and preserved by its enthusiastic owners over the course of 59 years. Its character and patina showed the result of decades of adoration and use before our two year long accurate restoration process. Finding an example that is this well-preserved and retains its original engine, restored to highest level is virtually unheard of. During the two-year restoration period the entire car was rebuilt, fitted and surfaced by our precision.
Please take a look at the restoration documentation at the bottom of the page.
While it was intended to be more attainable, the BMW 507 boasted a retail price of over $11,000, nearly double its target price, which made it a car that only few could afford. As such, the 507 attracted many well-to-do and famous owners, including motorsports icon John Surtees and even Elvis Presley. Only 252 examples, including both series, were made before production ceased in 1959.
Classic Days Schloss Dyck - Jewels in the Park 2017 - FIVA Concours d'Élégance
Publikumswahl - Best Jewel 2017 - BMW 507 restored by RPM-Styling
For many, Classic Days Schloss Dyck is Germany’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The huge event set against a magnificent stately backdrop, is certainly similar to its British counterpart in terms of its impressive scale. And its varied program has helped win it an enviable reputation. The classic car-related events and exhibits on offer appeal to a broad audience of collectors, aficionados and vintage fans. Every August for many years now, tens of thousands of visitors have made their way to the castle and surrounding gardens near Düsseldorf.
There is also a #FIVA Concours d'Elegance, called “Jewels in the Park”, on the Orangerie Peninsula. In August 2017 the BMW 507 #41 restored by RPM-Styling won the trophy "Publikumswahl - Best Jewel 2017", continues her winning series from 2016. Congratulations to the owner for his 4th Concours d'Elegance cup
